If you could go back ten years and tell your past self one thing, what would it be?

Going to be very honest and disappointingly serious; if I could go back ten years, I would tell my seven year old self that I needed to set up a night camera in the video tapes shelf of my room.

It wouldn't have saved me, but today it might have.

 

Wait. No. I wouldn't. As much as I was hurt, I think I wouldn't be here without these people teaching me lessons.

1. Just because everyone else had a boyfriend, doesn't mean YOU need one. Plus, they can't handle your awesomeness... UNICORNS!
2. Ryan is a tool. He smokes because he thinks it's cool. He will die.
3. I feel like Merton right now. In 9 years, you will understand this because you will rewatch EVERY EPISODE of BWOC. And Black Hole High.

I'd go back to a certain moment in my life, look myself in the eyes, and say two sentences:

I wouldn't say anything to myself really in terms of 'do this better'... Everything that I've experienced now has made me who I am today...


There is something big I'd like to change which was a life or death moment and one of the key moments of my life... and if I got the chance, I'd definitely take it without a doubt... but since it isn't possible, I'd rather not go over what-ifs any more or I'd torture myself forever in that regard since the chance to change such a thing is impossible.
I've done enough thinking and self torturing about that to last a lifetime.


If it was something minor, I'd say I would tell myself to not invite a certain someone to a certain website maybe... but meh.
