If we were created by god, then what created god??

    i say there is no god because whats the ****ing proof ohhh the bible where in the bible does it show any facts that are able to be proved the earth was created by an explosion of some kind and organisms started to grow and thats how life began

    I'm not really a practicing Catholic, but I did go attend Catholic schools all throughout elementary and high school and quite simply the answer is this: Humans do not have the mental capacity to comprehend just how God came to be. You've already stated the theory that God has 'always' been, since the beginning of time.

    Of course the logical thing that we would think is "Well no, he had to come from somewhere, did he just create Himself?"

    Truth of the matter is, who knows. But from all the years I've spent in the Catholic board, that's pretty much the answer: Understanding such a concept of 'always being' is something we have not the ability to comprehend.

    But hey, I'm agnostic, so in the end I could really care less.

    EDIT: Totally just realized what a massive necro-bump this was. Goddamn it, SoraOathkeeperUltimaGirl.
