If Christianity never existed, how different would the world be?

A suggestion here but you could always make this thread topic in the Discussion area, debate section and it would probably get more comments back on it. You also might want to give your opinion on what you think the world would be like in such a situation. Basically, these types of questions seldom do well in the Spam Zone.

No, not at the beginning at least. The Romans hunted the Christians down and killed them for a long time. Things started getting better for the Christians around 300 after Christ I believe.

Anyhow due to other religions entering the Empire, one of which was Christianity, it weakened, because the power of the Cesar/Emperor was weakened, due to the fact that he wasn't considered a God anymore... there were more causes to the weakening of course, but yeah Christianity is a bit to blame.
