Oh man, if Blitzball really existed I would want to be in the sphere.

I adore that game with an obsession bordering on unhealthy.

It's amazing.

I actually spend longer levelling my Blitzball team up and playing leagues and tournaments than I do playing the actual game.

Who do you use for your team? <: I know that there are guides for the alleged best people around Spira but I prefer to keep the Aurochs as they are and train them up.

OH OH OH HAVE YOU EVER GOT AUROCH'S SPIRIT? It's a type of shooting ability that Wakka can get when you have done certain things with the team and it is amazing.

 

Auroch's Spirit?? I heard of it, ya. But I need to aquire it in some way...

O yeah, how do you actually get people from Spira to join the Besaid Aurochs??

 

It would be the only sport i would watch actually,it's amazing and i love it.

I hope so,i ditched most of that team already.

Just go talk to them,and press Square isntead of Cross or Circle.

 

I think, if I am remembering right that you have to have got all your players to have learnt their key techniques and then it comes up as a prize in one of the tournaments/leagues.

To get people to join your team you go up to them and press SQUARE, then it will give you a stats window if they are a blitzball player and it will let you know if you can hire them or not, then you sign them up for however many games it is you want them for and have to "buy" the player.

However, you only have limited spaces on your team, so the more members you aquire you will have to get rid of different ones to make room.

Be careful with that because I remember I once got rid of Keepa in exchange for the Guado goalkeeper and then in the next match I got my ass kicked majorly hard because Keepa is a really tough opponent when you are against him.

Now that I am sure about, I have only ever got it when using the original Aurochs so I don't know if it counts if you use different team members. I should imagine you can :3

Also the second Jecht Shot is pretty sweet.

 

I like the idea of it as a real sport but if I remember right it involves water and i'm not fond of water. Well bodies of water anyway or swimming pools.

 

Basically you play inside a huge ball of water xD so yeah it definitely involves water.

I would love to play it if it was a real sport, but I would probably be unable to hold my breath for the time and energy I needed.

Well sure, but if Blitzball were to really exist then I imagine it would be played exactly the same or it wouldn't have quite the same feel to it you know? It would be a hell of a lot easier and wouldn't be as demanding meaning that the people who played wouldn't be put through as much and winning a game wouldn't mean as much.

Or at least I think so anyways.

 

Yeah, I think I'd follow it. Maybe I'd even try it out myself although I would probably fail horribly at it. :D I'm average in FFX though (and hopeless in X-2).

This, also I would definately join a team and play myself. And I think we'd just about have to have one of those little machines. I think they're called rebreathers. Not sure they exist yet though...

 

Dude, Blitzball in the beginning FMV was kick-ass. If it really did exist, I'd imagine it would play something like that. The in-game Blitzball was sort of choppy but I guess that was part of the gameplay style. In real life it would definitley be more smoother.

Still, Blitzball would be really cool, even cooler than football maybe (not that I watch football but w.e.).

 

Was rather bad a Blitzball, though since I've only played it once, then I would probably think that I could get better on the next try. I was so close to using my Jecht shot and then, Tidus was replaced with Wakka.

 

I would definately followed it! But it wouldn't be the same, we would all have to be in scuba diving suits.

The water would be filled with more oxygen so humans would be able to breath inside of the water tube.
