4kids should never dub anime. leave it to adult swim. i think there should be an anime channel that shows good english dubs.

They gave the stupid names in Yu-Gi-Oh! I mean, the only people who have the same names are Yugi, Atem, Kaiba, Mokuba, Bakura, Rebecca, Ishizu, Marik, Gozaburo Kaiba, Noah, Dartz, Rapael, and the Egyptian characters. Actually, that's a lot of characters.

I don't even remember seeing Yugi's mother. Maybe because I haven't watched it in a few years.

 

if you look on youtube, just type "4kids edits yu-gi-oh! 1". it'll show that he has a mom in the Japanese version.
