Ie 7

What do you think of Internet Explorer 7?
I like it, because you can have lots of tabs open at once, and you can jump back and forth very quickly.
Not only is this good for researching with, but it also allows you to have...say, twelve tabs instead of twelve windows. To me, tabs are easier to keep track of than windows.
And you can have several threads open at once and reply quickly.
That's what I do. xD

 

You can also do that with Firefox and that is much better browser.

 

I had a beta version of IE 7, but I lost it. And now when I try to download the full version, it says I can't. Wtf's up with that.

I'd really like to have it back because yeah, as you say it has tabs. I also really like how the Favorites were managed - I was quite fond of it.

But the tab thing isn't anything original, Firefox already has it. But I personally hate Firefox because it normally freezes my computer.

I tried Firefox once, and it seriously f'ed up my computer. >_>
'Course, that could've been my fault, but once something blows up for me, I kinda stay away from it.
I've been using IE since I was five, so I'm just used to tabs not being there.
Anyway, I have five tabs open now.
And not to mention that you can have multiple homepages at the same time.

 

IE 7 cannot compare with Firefox.

 

Netscape also has tabs. As does the default browser for Macs: Safari. They're really nothing new.

Only thing I use IE now is to fix my internet connection when it messes up.

All the rest is Firefox baby. I like all the add-ons and stuff so there's a deal of personalization.

IE started my hate for Windows.

Now I'm a mac user--still using Firefox.

 

Hey well at least it doesn't randomly FREEZE your computer. I don't see what the whole 'FIREFOX OWNS!!!' ordeal is. ..'Cept for the technical details which I won't get into.

I agree. I have Firefox and IE 7, and usually it's IE 7 that freezes my computer, wich means a few hours of scanning for virus, spyware, and so on... And believe me, that is really boring and annoying..So yeah, I love Firefox!!

 

Firefox will only freeze your computer if it was made in 1775.

I have no idea what you people are doing to make Firefox crash. That's never happened to me. IE, on the other hand, crashes constantly on my computer.

Firefox is awesome. Opera is quite good as well, but I use Firefox mainly for the handy in-line spell checker.

 

I don't use it because I have a Macbook laptop and I only get Safari, but my grandma has internet explorer and I had to bear with it. I wasn't used to it because Safari is so different, and it seemed a little slower than me but the multiple tabs were pretty cool.

 

I personally hate IE 7.

I used it for a while, and yeah, it was okay. Nothing compared to Firefox. It was much slower and you couldn't customize it 1% as much as you could Firefox.

Firefox has themes, add-ons (I couldn't live without Bork Bork Bork), and a spell checker. I prefer the downloading system to IE 7's as well.

Now, whenever I launch IE 7, it freezes up then closes. So... Firefox is better.

Ewww. IE7 makes me sick.

Get Firefox. Ten times better. It has faster browsing, tabbing feature, AND it looks hawt. =/

Only time Firefox closes on me is when I'm checking my Yahoo mail.

Otherwise it's fine.

 

At the moment that's like asking me to get a new arse.

I'll stick with my 'old school' '05 comp along with IE, until the day it starts giving me problems. ...Which I doubt is likely to happen any time soon.

In my opinion Firefox > Safari as well.

Also, Firefox is also more resistant from spyware/adware. While it wasn't Firefox's intention, this is the reason why Firefox is known as the safest pr0n browser on the net. lol.
