    I seriously love this guy and wish more developers would take a hint from games like Thief and Max Payne 1 & 2.

    It's true, not enough games that aren't RPGS don't concern themselves with great narratives and plots.

    I can only think of a handful of games that go against the norm of having a basic plot. It's really underrated, but thankfully not as underrated as it once was.

    All we need is the story of one game to be considered a literary or cultural masterpiece and then everyone will try to ride the fame of it.

    i agree with this as well. it's something that Persona 3 and 4 do very well with their dialogue. the characters feel more three dimensional for going off about noodles and planning their weekends.
