if you have a blur tool, blur around the edges, it gets rid of the outlines

Does CS1 have tools like Blur, Lasso, and Smudge? If it does, then you can get rid of the outlines and blend things a bit more. :3

Erm.. Are all of those Soras needed for the sig? Multible characters (of the same character) always gives out this "insanity" wibe, you know? And right now that's the feeling your sig is giving me. Like you never know what will happen with Sora around. (which I suppose has some truth in it) Did you plan to go for this craziness theme?

You should be careful with the choice of the background - if you use a pattern that will only repeat itself, with no sort of difference or gradient effect at all, it risks becoming too.... boring. And when the Soras stand out because basicly nothing has been done to them the difference will be too much, like Sora and the background don't belong together. I'd advise you to do something about the background, don't let it be the same everywhere. How you can do it, I don't know. Maybe take a look at a handful of tutorials and try out the effects that interests you? Experimenting = more knowledge. :3

Also regarding the text - with the background pattern being both dark and light, seeing the text is hard the way it is now. The elements just crashes, you know? It's tricky getting text right, it should only be used if highly needed.

I tried blurring, but it had no effect. I'll try more later, but here's a better text sample: [IMG]

Is there an actual Blur and/or Smudge tool on the toolbar?

Text is the least of things you need to worry about.
When you make a tag, it always has to focus on one part, the stock. It could be an image with a background and everything, or it could be a render, no matter what it is, it's stock. What your problem is... is that it's not focusing on one part, it's just messy, like you just slapped on stocks and that's not appealing to the eye.

There are also many tutorials you can follow to make a signature with that sense in mind. Here is a thread with links to a bunch of them: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=50636 They're easy to follow and are made by experianced members.
