I was tempted to buy a Wii U

And I told my mum as such.

"I don't know if I should get it, I think it's still a bit too much for me. Maybe I should hold off. But there's this deal with buying Mario Kart and getting a agem free, it's tempting at that price."

She replies.

Yeah, Mum, the Wii U's obviously representing my ****ing rebellious stage in life.

Well, Wii U is the sound a siren makes, and that's obviously symbolic of the inner scream that you're yearning to let out.

 

Worth it if you want to play Nintendo games. Don't expect much more beyond that dude. I can jazz it up all day with how many games I play on it and the amount of indie games I play on it. If you don't want Nintendo games, it's not for you.

It's worth, man. It's got some fun stuff rn and it's only getting more. It's a little heavy on the brand name, but I don't see why that bothers us now when we played all the Marios, Zeldas, & Donkey Kongs up to the Gamecube days. They're all still fun.

Haven't played a Mario since Super Mario Land was New.
Haven't played any Zelda's since Zelda II.
Never played a Donkey Kong.

My outlook on the Wii U is pretty similar to my outlook on the current state of the Xbox One: I would love to own one. There are plenty of games I'd enjoy playing. I just don't want to spend that kind of money on either when I want the PS4 more, and I can unfortunately only have one of the three in the foreseeable future. :c

 

Just saying, it's not as universal as you might think. I'm pretty sure there are tons of people like me who associate Nintendo with bad, rather than good.

 

I have never played a Mario other than Mario Party for more than a few minutes.

I have never played Donkey Kong.
