Summary: Roxas was told Nobodies didnt have a heart... so why does one girl from a strange island make him feel like he does? and when she leaves him,why does it feel like its broken? can she save him? Parinings RoxasXKairi. Prologue. They told me...we didnt have hearts...but if that's true...why does it feel like she's broken mine? I cant bare to watch her walk away...she says we cant be together anymore...because she has to go help Sora, Doesnt she care that she's hurting me by chosing him? he hasnt been around for a year! but sure,ok...the minute he needs help...its abandon Roxas...I should have expected it...im just a Nobody...who would ever love someone like me? a shadow of Sora..thats all I am...all I ever will be...and its not fair...maybe I never should have left the organisation...maybe I should have listened to Axel when he told me to stay away from her.... There's no maybe about it anymore....I should have listened... I should have stayed away...but I couldnt help it...I felt...love...and was laughed at for it... I stand there on the beach,I turn now, unable to watch her anymore, I open a door way to darkness and step in. As I come out,it feels like someone is clawing at my chest on the inside, tearing at the place were my heart should be, I gasp in pain,or what I think is Pain...and fall to my knee's, I hear foot steps, but cant see the face of the owner, its going dark,the pain doubles. "Roxas? Roxas!" Axel? I didnt notice where I'd opened up the portal...I feel my eyes close and Axel hurries torwards me,calling my name,I feel him shaking me...telling me to wake up...but my eyes are not responding to my wills...i just lie there...still...limp.... I think I know what caused this....My Heart...it was broken....and she doesnt even know.... "Kairi..."I breathe, I feel the ground move out from under me...Axel must have lifted me...I hear him calling Vexen....calling everyone....saying I'd come home...but something was wrong.... I felt a cold surface under me now and hear low murmers,someone strokes my hair in loving way...Axel...I the heat, the last thing I hear before I finaly give in to the darkness is... "He's slowly fading away....and I dont know why..."
It is pretty rare that I actually bother reading fanfics, usually they are filled with fangasming girls and boys and not much talent, but please, carry on with writing this. I have seen some of your writing before previously and I have to say your talent has improved massively, you have excellent control and you really show emotion through your words. This as a prologue is very sad, it is a good length and I actually love that you have mixed tenses. That is something that normally makes me rage, but you have done it really well IMO.

"Now, Xemnas...your sure Roxas is ready to do this alone? he's only been here a few weeks..."Axel said "Axel, I am certain that he can do this....He's only going to those horrid Islands to seeif there's any information on this...Keyblade hero..."Xemnas said "Roxas,you ready to go?"Axel asked "Yep,I've got everything,even the phone in case I need back up."he smiled "Right,well...you better get going then."He said stepping back so Roxas could open a doorway to darkness,Roxas gave a final wave and walked inside. The Islands on the other side,were beautiful,for some reason, it felt like he knew this place...weird...he'd never been there before...He looked around and froze,there...on the beach...stood a girl...aged fourteen maybe fifteen years old...her hair just touching her shoulders,she was staring out into the see,why was that? was she waiting for a father,brother,friend to come back from sea? Roxas was torn,he wanted to ask why she was staring at the sea like that...but he'd be breaking one rule of the Organisation, Dont be seen But he had to know! the intesenity of her violet eyes was buidling the curiousity in him. He Pulled his Cloack off,under it was his normal clothes he wore when out with Axel,he slowly went to the girl,slowly because he didnt know if she had a weapon or anything....which he doubted, when he was almost at he,she turned,her eyes widening. Roxas froze once more,his eyes shifting away from her and all over the place, but the girl smiled welcomingly, "Are you new to the Islands?" She asked. "No...Im...here visiting my aunt."he lied quickly. "Oh,Im Kairi." "Roxas." "Do you want me to show you around the Islands?"Kairi asked,still smiling Perfect...she could help me. "Yeah thanks."
