Digital Art I suppose I may call this a signature of sorts?

I am honestly not quite sure what to label it per se, though I am currently using it as a signature!

I shall give a preemptive warning beforehand - the sort of signature style is extensively unorthodox and very strange. This may be a positive or negative, perhaps? It primarily consists of irregular cropping to emphasize scene and effects here and there. I am not quite sure if it may even be considered a signature in the conventional sense. Perhaps it may be more appropriate to name it avant-garde experimentation in graphic art signatures by myself?

Anyhow, enough of my incessant rambling! Here it is:

Comments and criticism, if possible, danke dearly. I am still looking to find a way to develop sorts of things as such. There were two others in my possession with similar base characteristics, but they were sorts of rudimentary prototypes and did not exactly contain any effects and the like.

This certainly qualifies as a signature, but I believe the question is, did you do anything other than crop it and add a border? Did you draw it? What am I seeing?

 

I cropped, bordered, and blurred an original image not of my creation a tad. Quite simplistic, I suppose. I am simply looking for ways to improve the creation of sorts, for present and future use.

 

Well, a cropped image with a border can be called a signature. It really only matters if you like it or not.

I find it to be a bit... minimalist. Yes, that's the word. Minimalist; it's just simple enough to have it's own charm and appeal while still looking nice.

I suggest smoothing out the corners on your border more, they look a bit choppy. Second, I do not feel that the colors complement each other. Dark blue and orange do not go well together. Personal preference, but that is how I see it.

 

In accordance with the prophecy, I love the cut. It is unexpected but it works. Some effects would be nice. Try burn/dodging to add lighting, some more sharp/blur contrast, and maybe use some colour tools and overlays of more fractal images? The simplicity is respectable.​

 

A signature's a signature as long as you want it to be one. That's what I think....

As for the color thing, I think it's fine. Blue and orange. I like it, it's a nice combination imo.


Not sure if it's my screen, but the signature seems a bit blurry in some areas. I would fix that......
