My reaction when I heard "Sorah..." then my reaction when hearing "Roxas!!" after that I muted it.

 

People here have done much worse.

 

I muted it right at the beginning because there's something about people cosplaying and acting out characters that just gives me the goosebumps. Then I paused it at 0:06 to type this, only to figure out I'm not watching it because I'll just ignore it anyways since it's muted

Looks like foam swords like they use in Dagorhir. It's camping foam cut up and glued onto PVC (with a wooden dowel rod core for support) in layers (3-4 is usually good). Then you make a pommel by cutting a strip of the same foam and wrapping it around the bottom part of the pipe. Cut a circle out of the foam, stick it on the end, glue it all up and wrap it in black athletic tape. Wrap the handle in a different colour athletic tape, sew up a simple cover for the blade (a big tube sock will work too, but it's not as pretty) and get it on nice and securely. Boom. Safe and durable play sword that can't cause any significant injury. More details here.

Damn, now I kind of want to make a new one even though I don't do Dagorhir anymore. I made two swords but then I sold them to a teacher at my old high school. I still have my spear, but that's a piece of crap and it's falling apart. My shield is still in pretty good shape, though. I wonder if I could sell it on Etsy or something.
