I recently went through and deleted some of the borked vB3 styles

Because apparently the grand tradition of the site is never delete anything ever. Thought y'all might enjoy seeing some of the banners I came across...







I think the major question on my mind is why did Deathspank like that arrows font so much.

 

God, I remember that last one.

That was the only one that was ever actually used. I tossed it in for the heck of it.

But seriously, I remember being such a noob back in '09 and using all of the smilies in every single post.
God, I'm glad I grew out of that little phase.

 

Wow, I really like that first one. Ehh, I'm not too sure about the font though.​

If Deathspank was still lord of all here then our default font would be that arrow font, I bet.

That one is actually very good. I wish I could have seen the skin to go with it.

 

We should use the second banner in the next skin.

 

I wasn't able to find a screen that gave a good idea, but here's my original Photoshop mockup. It was a bit different in actuality (different navigation, some of the icons were changed, etc.), but that should give you a rough idea.

Yes, with all the lovely blending it had! And those colors! Who doesn't want a rust themed site?

They had all pretty much gone to the vB4 default style. It was nothing special.
