Okay, so we all know that Roxas wields the Oathkeeper and Oblivion, and so does Sora.

My question is, can Sora and Roxas both have those Keyblades at once? Or is there two of them? Can there be two of each Keyblade?

I know their fight was before you obtain Oblivion, but you had the Oathkeeper. How can Roxas have the Oathkeeper if it's in Sora's possesion?

    My brain hurts... T_T

A good question...i think there is only one of each. Did they have the same sword at the same time?

Just don't ask about it. Some things just can't be explained, so don't bother.

    Agreed.

    But it's a possibility.
Since Roxas is Sora's nobody ofcourse.

Well, take it this way, Sora and Roxas both had the key to the light, RIGHT? And everyone understood why, RIGHT? So the reason is simple: They're both the same person, so they both have the same weapon. See?

I don't think they ever both held it at the same time...did they?

Maybe they have some sort of one-entity sharing thing.

No, they never did. Although, I might try and see if it'll work if I have the Oathkeeper equipped in that cutscene...

They probably do have a one-entity sharing thing, but Sora didn't even know who he was, so how could Roxas have gotten the Keyblade from Sora? Maybe he took it without Sora noticing...

Sora is tied to the Kingdom Key and Roxas, being a part of Sora, also was tied to it. He had Oblivion because of Sora's connection to Riku, and Oathkeeper by his connection to Kairi. Roxas really only had the Keyblade at all because of being a piece of Sora's whole being, which is about as much sense as it's probably ever going to make.

    Think of it as this:
If there are two regular Kingdom Keys, one from Sora and the King, there is a way for Sora and Roxas to have the Oblivion as well as the Oathkeeper. He might have had the same keychain, too, if you know what I mean.

Like what Repliku said, the Keyblades could also have ties to Sora's friends, but the Oathkeeper (instead of Kairi's keychain), it could be Namine's keepsake, but the Oblivion could be something from the Replika Riku or Axel.

Does that make any sense, cause I think I just confused myself.

Oathkeeper was tied to Kairi. Namine made a fake star keychain that was given to both Sora and another to Repliku - whose mind was messed with by her. However, it had no power and was just there to mess with Sora's memories and Repliku's, to cause them to fight. Namine had taken the memory of the paopu fruit keychain from Sora's memories.

As for Repliku, or Riku Replica, he was given a duplicate star/paopu fruit keychain just because it was for the role he needed to play in pretending to be Riku. Roxas and the Replica never met face to face and Vexen created him at the Castle Oblivion and he was killed before Roxas would ever meet him. The ties to Kairi and Riku seem pretty solid to me in that way because Namine's was different and gold, only made to dupe Sora and Repliku...and Oblivion isn't an issue really with Repliku.

Also, Oblivion very clearly to me tied to Riku considering it was from Riku after the battle with him in KH, before he ties with Ansem fully. Roxas threw it at him, Riku caught it, and Riku used Oblivion against him. Also, when Roxas is on the ground, Riku put Oblivion back by him, -giving- it back. I don't think Riku had to do that. If the Keyblade had no connection to Riku, he probably could not have caught it or kept it or given it back. Roxas could have taken it back at any time. Axel had one keyblade connected with him that went to Sora which was Bond of Flame.

Also, in the game, in KH2:FM, Sora has a reaction command that also lets him take a Keyblade from Roxas. That shows, they are very connected, but if it came down to things, Sora probably could also take it back, and Kairi might have been able to take Oathkeeper from Roxas.

That is another reason why I think Roxas only had them because of being directly linked with Sora as a part of him, and that they are linked to the 3, and not just to Roxas. Mickey's Kingdom Key is from the Darkness side and Sora's from Light. The one Roxas had is just Sora's Keyblade that passed on to Roxas as a duplicate that would fade when Roxas was gone.

Yep, it makes sense to me. Although, it kinda' confused me for a while there.

Wow Repliku, thanks! That really helps!

You'd think Sora would've wondered why Roxas had his Keyblades, but I suppose he just kept it to himself...
