Chain of Memories I never realized how creepy Riku was...

lol, Riku is a little weird, but maybe he has a similar power to Zexion. Zexion's sense of smell is kinda weird, but at least it is explained as one of his powers. Where as Riku is like "I smell you." It doesn't really count as a power, does it?


Still funny, though :p

 

In one of the cutsceens in RR, Riku say's he "tastes" the darkness around him. It could be that, since he was starting to use the darkness more and more in RR, he could smell, or in some case's, taste the level of darkness in people, or places, which is how he knew that it was DiZ when he showed up looking like Ansem, or when he told Ansem "you can come out, I can smell you."

 

She should just be glad that he didn't taste her.

 

Maybe when he entered the darkness,he got that powers as well!!!!

Do you guys even realize how long Riku knows Kairi and they've been hanging around with eachother quite awhile as friends. Just think about it, he's not a stalker. Just a good friend.

The darkness enhances your sense of smell. That's why Zexion had all those lines about being able to sense Riku and Marluxia and Vexen and the Superior and such. That was also a power Riku developed from being immersed in the darkness, as the scene where he discovers this shows: "Somethings...tastes kind of funny. It's so familiar...What is it? Darkness. The smell of darkness. What's happened to me? The darkness even seeps into my senses."

I never even played the game itself, and I know that from watching the vids and reading the script online. Did anyone pay attention to this at all?

 

Yeah, its basically from the darkness creeping into his senses.

Me and my friends have this joke about the darkness smelling like cheap cologne.

That made me laugh more than the "You smell the same" line Riku pulled. Can you just imagine Riku going up to Kairi "I can smell you!" hahahahahahhahaha

 

That is creepy...and he never seems to note anything about smelling people in kh or kh2

RI makes perfect sense. Once Riku got darkness back from Ansem, but later on in Twilight Town you find out it is actually DiZ, he can easily distinguish the difference between a Nobody, Heartless, or even a being.

well his darkness was given back to him and in twilihgt town he finds out it was giz? right? then how can diz awaken riku's darkness? is diz another darkling?????

 

He's probally like that guy in the first Charlies angels movie who carries that one womans lock of hair around with him all the time.
