I recently got Sony Vegas and I'm trying to figure out how to fade scenes with each other, while having them overlapped like in this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Nk1_-lDjfE
(Lol it is funny, i agree.)

But anyways, does anybody have any tips?

Well..if you want like just one part of a clip (like just a person ect) you can use the cookie cutter effect (That can cut out parts with crcles, squares, ect.)
And the more exact effect would be the chroma keyer effect.
And for fading you put your mouse over the top right of a clip (When it's on the track) and your mouse should change to a differenct shape. You then click and hold, then pull over this line thing to the right(Which causes the clip to fade)
