    Last.fm is giving me ****** recs so I am turning to y'all. Be warned that I am extremely picky about music, I will reject your suggestions without remorse & may not even listen to them.

    Right now I'm into / looking for stuff with a bit of electric vibe, through I'd like to stay away from trance or anything with a repetitive beat (they make me really anxious). Things I've been listening to lately are mostly dream pop / chillwave / ambient / synthpop. I also like chiptune. Open to other things if you know my tastes (my last.fm is a good place to start if you don't).Been listening to

    PURITY RING (click me)

    GRIMES (click me)

    HOW TO DRESS WELL (click me)

    ODESZA (click me)

    Try anything by Ólafur Arnalds. His stuff is seriously chill and soothing, particularly his collaborations with Arnor Dan (the only songs of Ólafur's that actually have lyrics)—it's sort of classical-ish with some electronic vibe-y stuff. If you've ever watched Broadchurch, he did all the music for that, including the closing theme with Arnor Dan. Here are a few favorites:

    I have no idea how you will react to this as this genre is not anything close to what you were asking for but... how about some post rock?

    The thing about post rock is that there is SO much diversity, and there is always something that I feel can cater to everybody, you just need to find that one song/band that fits your taste.

    -shrugs- if you don't like it, I won't be hurt, but I figured I would recommend it just to see.

    Well then. Now this isn't really chill, but I'm gonna recommend Caravan Palace because I have not met someone who doesn't like them. Hope you like Electroswing

    If not, then how about some Of Monsters and Men. You've probable heard them before tho

    Finally, Youth Lagoon? It's a bit psychedelic, but very chill.

    Nuttin but Strinz:

    Flobots:
    If you really experimental: Try this or this.

    Umm, I really can't think of any bad songs from Flobots, but here's my favorite songs from each of their albums
    Something Grown Together
    Iraq, Mayday!!!, Same Thing (really, theres' no song on Fight with Tools that I don't love.)
    Defend Atlantis, White Flag Warrior (ft. Tim McIlrath from Rise Against), Whip$ and Chain$
    And from The Circle in the Square? All of them. Seriously. My LEAST favorite on this one are Loneliness, Gonna Be Free, and Sides and I love those.

    Funny you should mention that, I've been lsitening to the Adventure Time game OST. You mentioned not liking repetetive tracks, but also liking chip tune, which sounds like an oxymoron to me, but hey, at least there's this?

    (Though Party in the Clouds is my current jam)

    @Cstar
    first one had a little bit too much build up with no payoff for me, I actually rather like Tycho and Sigur Ros already but thanks!

    @Wilson
    Caravan Palace sounds cool but they have a LOT going on, i feel overwhelmed. ;c
    omg do you know how much this song has been played fork? DO YOU KNOW? (secretly i like it)
    Youth Lagoon is kewl but i am v. into electric rn

    @Boy Wonder
    DAMN nuttin' but stringz is intense, I am not totally in the mood for that right now but I will definitely be coming back to them
    Flobots is neat but rap overwhelms me a lot, I feel quite pressured to keep up with the words which I can't and then I feel that I'm missing the experience loool. but I suppose that's a skill best learned through practice. liked the one with tim tho (duh)

    @burnitup
    (assuming that is a real thing) song titles plz?

    @Princess ♥
    jazz actually makes me extremely anxious so

    @hatok
    IT'S TOUGH I KNOW IT'S A HUGE CONTRADICTION but it's part of why I have so much trouble finding electronic stuff I like. I can't describe it quite right but if I'm conscious of a repetitive beat (and I'm overly receptive to it) then I get quite anxious, any kind of repeated noise does this to me actually. I like the mention of the AT soundtracks though because I love the music from the show (and listen to it A LOT) so I should check out the game soundtracks ty ( I LOVE THIS ONE FOR EXAMPLE )

    THANKS ALL & SORRY FOR SLOW REPLY, TURNS OUT IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO LISTEN TO MUSIC!

    Party of Three
    The Decision
    Dinosaur Laser Fight
    Object of Desire
    I Just Want To (Dance)
    Manticore
    Dragonslayer
    Unicorn Wizard

    Those are the NSP songs I'd recommend!
