Got a chance to snag a older console this week at some mom and pop store's going out of business sale, and don't even know what to get. So it's up to you guys. Which one?
The Gamecube had some absolutely fantastic games. Don't even bother with anyone else's opinion. Just get it.
PS2 has a better overall library as well as its fair share of standouts but Gamecube has a couple of incomparable gems. I lived ten years without a Gamecube and getting one really didn't put a dent in my PS2 usage. That generation was so good. I'd recommend getting the Gamecube for the moment because they seem a little harder to come by in my area.
