I've been in a mood to actually watch anime, anyone got any recommendations of shows I should watch before that mood dies?

Log Horizon and Golden Time were the first two things to come to mind.

    Kill la Kill
    Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
    Cowboy Bebop
    FLCL
    Angel Beats!
    Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (2012)
    Ga-Rei: Zero
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
    Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

I was so confused by how wrong this was for about six seconds.

Been meaning to watch Garden of sinners...laziness I guess...
    Haven't seen redline so maybe?
And a high school music thing...maybe...I did like Beck...
Seen Log Horizon and liked it, easy to like it when you're a One Piece fan...so much world building!
    I'll look into golden time.
That first suggestion gave off a boring vibe and Tora Dora killed my mood earlier this year...
    Ahem...
Kill la Kill: Seen it and liked it.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: one of the first anime that got me to watch more anime when I first saw it...also one of the few anime that's on my shelf...
Cowboy Bebop: another great series which I need to get for my shelf...hurry up Funimation...
FLCL: Seen it and liked it.
Angel Beats!: Halfway liked it, but the finished product didn't do it for me...too short...
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (2012): I've been wanting to get into jo jo, just don't know where to start. X_X
Ga-Rei: Zero: Never heard of it but I'll look into it.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Like Gurren Lagann one of the first I watched and both seasons sit on my shelf.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood: First watched this last year and it was amazingly refreshing especially since I've seen the original anime. It's also on my shelf.

Got some good suggestions here, should keep me busy for a while.
Might as well link this to avoid repeat suggestions.

I listed that one because that's where I started. It's the best place honestly.

Maoyuu Maoyuusha was a good show, but I will say that it's pretty dry at points.

It was a joke because Maoyuu Maoyuusha and Tora Dora are written by the same people who wrote Log Horizon and Golden Time respectively. Also, Maoyuu is better than Log Horizon.

I'll try that then, all I know is that it has something to do with vampires and stands or something like that...but the versions of characters I've seen in gameplay vids of Jump Star Victory Vs don't have stands...hopefully I figure it out at some point...
From what I've seen and heard it's like a wash down version of Spice and Wolf and I kind of liked Spice and Wolf...need to watch that second season though...
    Interesting...to some random wikis!

It's not like Spice & Wolf. Spice & Wolf is microeconomics. Maoyuu is macroeconomics and nation building.

Guess I'll give it a try, can't be any worse then the couple of shows I've completed in the last couple days.

Be warned, even though I loved it so much I got mad when it ended it's not something I recommend. This all came off of a joke I made, let's remember.

I'll keep that in mind, most anime series I've seen lately have dumb endings...

Stands start being seen in Stardust Crusaders, which is the sequel anime to the 2012 iteration.

Ah that makes since then, the 2012 series then the new series that is currently airing. I'll probably get right on that.

Stands are introduced as Dark Ripple because normal Ripple is from the sun or whatever and is light and Stands are an actualization of the inner self and is by that merit from the darkness of humanity or something. I'm explaining this to you now because it's important that you understand that it actually doesn't matter. Stands are actually only there so the author can put in more musical themed enemies.
