i need help

i want to post a picture without having to put a link. just the picture there. can someone help me with that. and also link text. you know when something reads "click here" and there's a link line under it. can someone tell me how???

 

For pictures you put the url between img tags:

yoururlhere.com[/ IMG] (without the space)

As for urls you use [URL="theactualurl"]what you to appear as the underlined link.[/ URL] (again without the space >_>)

Right click the picture, "Save as Picture". Go to imageshack.us then upload it. When you're looking through the different links and codes you want to copy and paste the "Hotlink for Forums (1)" code.

 

yes it helps. one more thing. how do you make youtube vids pop up without link. do you do the picture one???

 

Say the YouTube vid is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unt_AW5H1yE

You take everything after the equals, and put it in youtube tags.

So in this case it would be:

[youtube=unt_AW5H1yE]unt_AW5H1yE[/youtube ]

Minus the space at the end.

So it would look like this.

 

No. You know how you're watching the video? Well on the right side underneath the description, catergory, and tags there's two codes. Copy and paste the Embed code into wherever you want to put it. ^.^
