Kingdom Hearts II i need help with xalden

ok im faceing xalden and i keep losing because of that big dragon thingy anyways ur suppose to be able to play as king mickey but sometimes it dont do that anyways if anyone kan help i would apperate it

 

When he's about to do the Dragon move, run pass half way of the bridge & as he does starts the move run to the opposite end. You should be able to miss it completely. Also for fighting Xaldin, having high jump helps.

 

Well, try heading to one of the corners of the stage, not sure which one, but one of them is the moves blind spot. Or you could spam reflect.

dude i tried wat u guys told me and it didnt work i tried the corner thing he hit me in all corners then i tried that going half way then going opisite and that didnt work anymore ideas

 

Do you have high jump? (i think it is only possible not to get hurt by it in KH2FM)

It is most likely that you will get hurt by it, but you can minimize the amount of damage he does to you by running to the opposite side & jumping just before it reaches you. Just have loads of potions & heal only when you really have to. Don't bother with Donal or Goofy. Use your reaction commands when you can, they are the key to this battle.

 

i have beast in my party not goofy donald heals me beast is strenth no which keyblade i should use

 

Use whatever keyblade has the most strength. I don't think it would really matter who's in your team, they will all die anyway. Put who ever has the most potion slots in along with Donald.

I found that it helps to have learned your growth higher jump ability. I usually just jump around it to the opposite side of the bridge & keep doi' that until you find a chance to use your reaction commands. Well that's what i usually do, try n' see if that works for you.

 

what i would do is use donald and goofy. when he does the dragon thng, use knocksmash with goofy. you cant get damaged using limits, and when xaldin comes back to normal, you can damage him. also have alot of eithers.

for keyblades I used either circle of life for it's MP haste or Hero's crest for it's air combo boost. try to block his stabs to gather some jumps and SPAM REFLECT WHEN HE GOES DRAGON. that's all I can say.

 

well ill try all wat u said i beat him before but that was on begginer mode im on stander mode now and its a lil bit harder

You cant just hope mickey comes i find that the higher ur drive the better of chance u have of gittin him also use gard as much as u can when he goes berserk and gets surrounded by green aura also run around while he does the areal attacks and use the reaction commands as much as possible keep reflect on ur short cuts it helps alot use the rose blade u just got and thats all good luck and keep hi potions or potions and ethers wouldnt hurt happy XALDIN!

You know what will help you? Use the keyblade with Reaction Boost, and equip it in your abilites aswell. This is so you can use Jump with more power, it can be very helpful. And I hope you know how to get Jump.....

 

i think that ability boost key is the gaurdian soul which you dont have when you fight Xaldin the rose should be the best you have it adds a combo attack to the end so it helps or if u beat NMBC(xmas town)use that key

 

well im attaking non stop and keep using jump and the keyblade im using is rumbling rose

 

well, have you tried blocking this spear thrusts? it throws him off and you can stock a load of jumps, set Donald's spells off except cure. And make sure beast doesnt do any specials either. keep donald stocked with ethers and beast with hi-potions. make sure you're stocked with some too. Avoid Xaldin's attacks until you can get some jumps in, it breaks his Aero spell and does good damage, aerial combo to follow it up, then back off repeat until he turns green. when he turns green just run for it and keep away from him. Block the dragon's attack by mashing reflect. Be sure to put hi-potion, cure, reflect, and ether in your shortcuts. Rely on hi-potions for healing yourself and only use cure in emergencies. don't rush right into him like a maniac, that's not good. try to pull out beasts limit once in awhile to do some good damage (if beast's awake, that is). Mickey is a great asset in this battle for not only waking up Sora beast and donald, but he also does some major damage to Xaldin, given you are careful. Just stay on your toes and don't go too crazy, patience in key here, just keep trying. You'll get him soon enough...hope this helps.
