Okay writing people, I'm in this writing contest but all the rules say is Adventure and 500 words. That's literally all it said. Anywho, are there any limitations on what could be adventure cause I'm still not sure what classifies as adventure. And I think 500 words is a minimun so does it really matter how long it is because I'm pretty sure it's gonna be longer than 3 pages.

Adventure is a pretty broad topic, honestly. It could be like a fairy tale or it could be an adventure into something like adulthood or the unknown. Adventure usually has a journey and a lesson learned by its end, so just do what you'd like with that.

honestly, you shouldn't feel limited. so long as you can justify it as an adventure of any sort, that's what matters.

Adventure is basically a journey, the most mundane things could be an adventure. Of course you've got your battling of dragons and rescuing maidens clichés, but an adventure could simply be trying to find yourself our of a woodland or park or going on a plane for the first time. Judges always appreciate original ideas and inventive ways on the limitations given

500 words is... a tough limit. I find a thousand bad enough. Still adventure genre doesn't need major character development to be good.

    Good luck.
