I'm not too fond of the horror genre, especially the really gory ones... Psychological thrillers are much more enjoyable for me, so the 'scariest' movies I like are The Sixth Sense and Black Swan.

Ah, Black Swan. What a great mind f*ck that was.

Mila Kunis should've been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for what she did.
    *slaps*
    I deserve that...

    The Shining.

I know it's not exactly scary, but it's kinda creepy.

    That, and A Clockwork Orange.

I'm probably going to get hate for this, but probably Paranormal Activity. It was the first horror movie that actually left me feeling scared.

Cloverfield freaked me out so bad, man. I also liked the original Prom Night because it was hilarious.

How scary can it be? I mean, I've heard people wre terrified by it, but I just don't see how you can be scared by something like that, especially since it's all shot the way it is.
Apparently it was so scary for my sister though that last year or something when she was 18 she saw it with her boyfriend(ex now) and she slept with my parents because of how scared she was. Only thing that scared me that much was Child's Play.....*shivers*

It is supposed to be scary because of the way it is shot. Seems more real.

And before you say it, whether or not jump scares actually do affect you and regardless if you can't figure out why Paranormal Activity actually scared some people, the fact is that other people are different and did get scared.

Paranormal Activity scared me so much that I cried
But I was stoned and it was the credits that made me cry

Eh, some jump scares get me, but it's kinda rare now. I've gotten used to them.

Didn't make cloverfield any better. It was a good movie with everything but the first-person view

Haven't seen it, but it gets a lot of praise. I don't like the name.
