Made this today in my boredom. I really hate just slapping on textures like crazy. But it works and looks nice, I suppose.

Made this sometime ago. It's actually way bigger, but photobucket resized it. I guess this style is nice. But it's way effortless. I'd like to do more stuff, but nothing comes to me.

they're really nice and detailed, in fact I really like the detail, but that blur is really distracting. It's hard to look at it without having some problems

I like the first one you posted but the second one is too blurry it's too distracting and it takes me away from the actual img it self.:/

That is the idea. It's a stylistic choice, to make it have that 3D-ish look. But thanks for the comments.

I think it would look fine without the blur. Still, Cnc is just a person's opinion and suggestion.

    I agree. I can see how some people wouldn't like it. I don't know...I guess I just like it personally ; )

Blurrrrrr, better get my 3D glasses. 8D

I like the colors, the texture, the butterflies, it's gives off a very...pastel feeling. The second one goes into the 4th dimension, the girls are nice, but it is kinda plain.
I'd say the first one is better, but they're both better than my attempts so keep it up pastel warrior.

I quite like it, especially the colors. I see what you're going for with the blur, but I think it'd look better if you had a different amount of blur in the picture, to add depth to it. I'm not sure if it would work, but right now it seems like it's something scanned on a somewhat messed up scanner. (Because of the same amount of blur in the entire thing. Besides that I like it.)

    Very nice.

What I like about the first picture is the sparkles that you added -- it gives it sort of a magical / twinkly feeling.

As for the second, the reflection looks very realistic.

Are these imaginary characters from your mind, Chev, or are they from some show?

I don't know which character the first picture depicts, but the second picture shows Aegis from Persona 3 and another character I do not know. :x

Anyway, the first one I thought could have used varying amounts of blur, like Noroz said, to add more depth to it. However, I really liked the texture you used, as well as the orange and blue coloring. As for the Aegis one, I thought that the blurring worked really well with it. It just adds this soft, warm feeling to it (which is amplified the lovey-doveyness of the hand holding oh yes).

Overall, really great job Chev. c:

The girl in the first one is Ritz in her non-grandma hair form from FF Tactics Advance.
The robot with Aegis in the second one is her sister, Metis.

I definitely like the style you've used here. The blur thing doesn't really bother me as much since I've seen other artworks with a similar style. The simplicity is used very well in this case, since it's paired with refreshing colors and light textures to keep things from being too flat. When the universe dies from entropy, I hope I can absorb your soul and gain your skills.

These do have a unique appeal to them. I must say they do intrigue me very much.

I get a feel of temporary kid tattoos when i see them, because they begin to fade like that. The composition is relatively simple in design, but it does compliment the simplistic feel of the characters themselves.

These are good turnouts, i would actually like to see more of your work like these. However, maybe have a tad more background in the future.

    Good job!

Wow looks like I need to find some 3D glasses XD

I really enjoyed the detail and the blurry effect. It makes it seem different then other art. I really hope that I continue to see more of your work Cheve! Great Job!
