    First off, most men are idiots - it's a fact of life. (No offense, guys)

    Second off, be nice to him; maybe drop some hints?
    Maybe you should just come right out and tell him; most guys are too shy to ask a girl if they like him. Remember Elementary School where guys threw rocks and dodgeballs at girls they liked? Yea, it's kinda like that.
    Chances are, if you like him enough, he probably likes you back.

    best advice ever.
    Drop hints for a bit, and then if he doesn't get it (cause most men are awesome) sure just tell him straight up. There is nothing wrong with that as it's the 21st centuary and stuff. Fearless is too right about guys are too shy to ask a girl if they like him.

    You want to go at it the nice way while calling him an idiot in the thread title?
    Congratulations, you've already made your first mistake. You see, men have this thing called pride which women don't seem to understand (and to be honest, neither do men) but you should know that it's very fragile. The word "idiot" is usually insulting, and even if you didn't mean it like that, he may still interpret it the wrong way.

    I've seen the "dropping hints" advice appear twice already. Try it if you want but don't expect results. Men are stupid (but that doesn't mean they like being called that).

    Most men are stupid this everyone knows by now. Look if you really want a guy to know you like him you have to say it. Hints dont help if the guy is your average dumbass. I mean yeah there are exceptions to this rule like feminine guys(like me) and gay guys(but that wouldnt matter here would it?). First your average guy is usually 1 of 3 things. Stupid, Self absorbed, or obsessed over something else(usually sports..yuck) and that blinds them to EVERYTHING else.

    Then, there are the feminine guys who are straight like me. umm well if he was one of these then he would probably know by now what you were getting at.

    Finally, there are the gays. then well you would be wasting your time but i have no doubts that whoever you have your eyes on isnt gay so you can ignore this.

    Dude, what the fuсk am i reading? Suddenly I'm an idiot unless I'm feminine or a ***? What?

    Anyway, as Styx said, as soon as you tell him, he's not going to like that fact that you just called him out as an idiot. I wouldn't suggest dropping hints, I don't think that really works on forums.

    Just tell him. Something may happen, maybe not.

    Guys....I don't think dropping hints will work. Some girls don't even get what some guys are hinting at and the relationship fails before it starts.

    It's best just to come out and say it to him because then everyone knows what everyone means and there are no misunderstandings.

    Also, calling people you love "idiots" (not a good sign that you misspelled it by the way) is not what people call a term of endearment. If you love the person, work around that part and call them something nice, like handsome or something.

    Having your mood set on "Flirty" isn't helping you in getting a guy to take you seriously either.

    Whatever you do, don't wonder what life would be like if he was your dad and then tell him. This is extremely important. Why? No particular reason... >_>;;
