Now that my co-worker has shown me Mouse Without Borders, who needs a dual-monitor when you can just use a normal monitor with your laptop? hahaha on another note, what the heck Disney XD? Calling a Doctor Who episode that aired 8 years ago "brand new"? Since when did they even start airing Doctor Who; and if they are going to, at least be honest about when the titles aired
Well I mean... you can already use a monitor with your laptop... Spoiler: this is my desk View attachment 42831
Same here. I assume he means now he can watch his movies on his bigger TV while keeping his lazy ass on the couch or something. That' s pretty much the only use I have left for dual screening, but my computer is a laptop as well so I can just put it on my bed at arms length. My TV is already close to my bed so cable length isn' t an issue.
Laptops are where it's at. There's nothing to be gained by not having a fifteen inch screen in your face.
Yes, but it was annoying having to switch back and forth. Now I can use my mouse and keyboard for both my monitor and laptop and make my work easier when I have to use two computer, like when doing beta tests.
Huh ? I get the last part if that allows you to control several computers with a single tablet but ... switch ? I' m not following. I don' t have to switch, never had to.
yeah, i have my laptop which i hardly use except for school, which i'm using all the time, and my desktop which is my main computer i use. The biggest issue I had was having to go back and forth with files on the two, but now with the new program I have, I can just drag over the files from my laptop over to my desktop instead of having to switch a flashdrive over and over. Though, since this semester is basically 4/5 online classes, i guess it's not that big of a deal. Either way, it's helpful now
17 bucks a year isn't bad. Granted, I still use the free version for same network usage, but I'll probably end up paying soon in addition to everything else in this thread
If it saves me 17 bucks a year, i'll still use it, just for conveniences sake. No point in spending money when there's something that works just as well for free
That's like calling the used game that I just bought "brand new" just because I've never played it before. It's new to me, but it's not brand new in any sense of the word.
Yes, but it's still new. For example, Disney Channel has a block for Disney XD shows. If people don't have the Disney XD network, then it will be new to them when they show, say, Lab Rats: Bionic Island: Bionic Rebellion (S4 E1).
if you want to sync files between two devices on different networks, use BitTorrent Sync. If you want to remote in to a computer on the same network, use Splashtop. and this "I use it because it's free" attitude is bullshit. don't use it because it's free. use it because it's good.
This whole lines is completely opinion based I use it because it's free, and it works, so there, better?
