It is not stupid at all that the game could be in the past. Their is the entire story of what the keyblades are and who were the previous weilders. I do believe that the main part of the story will surround the Terra trio but that doesn't mean that it only takes place in one timeframe. We could have another sleeping problem where Terra goes into a coma to wake in front of Sora and battle him and Ven and Aqua are 'dead'. Thus having the story also go into the future.

I like this answer. Even if it does take place in the past, then they'll find a way to link it to the present storyline. It's Square. -.-

I think kh3 might take place in the past or it could take place in the future since they are older and Kairi did not have a keyblade earlier in the past or w/e but i dont know for sure thats just my opinion.

Yes and No. tectonically he was born in 1928 so he would be about 90 years old, but keep in mind he is a cartoon and they don't age like we do.

Bi-chan and Rain came up with an interesting answer to this problem in their Disneyland comic. *which is a great read for any Disney fan* Celebrating Unbirthdays= immortality. if a cartoon doesn't recognize it's birthday s/he wont grow any older. or they all just may have some crystals from Atlantis.
