BUT SERIOUSLY. Friday, I test drove this used car. Oh my god, for 2K, this car was great. It was an '06 Sebring and except for a few splotches of paint on the trunk, it looked and drove brand new. Only problem was the huge amount of miles (218,000). I had to work out of town in a few hours so I asked the guy if he can hold it for me. He said yeah since I told him I was definitely buying it. He advertised the car on the side of a street (there's a few spots where people try to sell cars like that in town) and said he would move it back to his lot and advertise on another car and he would hold it for me until today (Tuesday). Yesterday morning, I got back into town (someone picked up my shift for the sole reason of letting me come buy the car) and realized the car was still there. Even though I was here a day earlier than I would have been, I didn't have the money until today (see: the day he said he would hold it for me). I go out a few hours later to get food and realize the car's not there anymore. HE SOLD IT. THE DAY BEFORE HE PROMISED TO SELL IT TO ME.

That'll happen when dealing with car dealers. They get a larger sum of money, and they don't care

@Aqua101: He probably sold it for the same amount, sooner. Since Bueno wasn't paying extra for the holding, the guy didn't have much incentive to not to accept the money right away.
