I could also come up with some BS as to why you are wrong, but the fact is that I stopped following this series from a long time ago until now, so there's a giant hole in my information.

 

There's a theory that Lelouch stole the Code from his father when he killed him. Geass from CC, the Code (technically)from VV, making him the first person to achieve CODE GEASS.

With the Code, he could live forever, hence, people think he's the wagon driver.

It actually sounds plausible to me, but I feel like if he'd stolen the Code from his father, they'd have at least made a small hint to it when it actually happened, but as far as I know, none was given.

Why would Lelouch WANT to be alive? He clearly stated that dieing is his punishment for what he has done and what he must to do to see the world change, so if he was using the code to be immortal he would bassically be trolling Suzaku.

but..maybe lelouch is the wagon driver...why would they zoom in on him if he wasn't? Or he could be like marianne....or he could be the origami....I never understood where the power of geass came from and how little importance they gave to the whole technical thing....I mean....most things like C.C. being the org leader and then leaving, and the being a witch and how did Nunnaly break the geass, but couldn't break lelouch's?
