I just watched Fox and the Hound again

Awesome movie, but one thing really confuses me about it. This movie never even remotely make me feel sad as a 5 year old, but at 17 two parts of the movie made me tear up.

Am I becoming more of a wussy as I grow older or what? I mean it's the same with Lion King and Land Before Time.

 

I've never seen that film, but as children we don't understand things as much thats why we cry when where older XD

 

It is the understanding that comes with age. And linking it to experiences that you have, can drag up unhappy memories.

 

The Fox n' the Hound is such a cute movie. It's awright. It's not uncommon to tear up durin' movies like that. The Lion King still gets me.

 

I'm 3 years older than you love, and I still cry at all three of those films so you don't need to feel wussy xD

As Bunty said, the older you get, the more you understand. As a little kid, the idea of death etc doesn't have as big of an impact.​

I watched that on Friday n' i still cry when it seems the Beast is dead, even though i know he isn't. Damn these Disney movies n' their ability to make us cry!
