ITT: People who assure others that movies reviews by critics and random people mean something.
Just watch the movie and judge for yourself, god.
For the record, critic reviews is the worst thing you can look up for a movie.



I honestly don't care for The Last Airbender since I'm not interested in the series or the concept, but just wanted to tell you this from recent experience. Never listen others for movie opinions. It's never valid.

 

Critics aren't out to give movies F's. They're people too. Like 99% of the time I've found that they've rated a movie so horribly they've been right. I am not wasting my money on this thing.

 

Exactly what I was thinking. I would only watch the movie if I could so for free, and even then I wouldn't want to watch it. No thanks.

 

So I saw the movie and it sucked so much. they changed everything, and even if there was no source material it would have still sucked. I was actually thinking of switching to seeing Eclipse about 20 minutes in, but then I though that maybe it'd get better. It didn't.

I don't think I'll be watching this movie at all (if what you guys say it's true NO cartoon based live action movie is good at all)

Eh. I'll just save myself the trouble then. Not that I listen to everyone's opinion on movies, but I didn't like the casting to begin with, and I dislike M. Night Shyamalan. And adding that to the fact that I really like the Avatar cartoons, I'll probably just walk out upset like you.

 

Agreed. Megan Fox is just another barbie doll actress. She has way to much makeup on all the time. She might has well have had a covergirl shirt on through out the movie.

Let's sing praises about how amazing the Avatar series was, like how they managed to blend western and Asian animation and storytelling. Or how they subtly had the characters physically and emotionally grow up and mature through the course of the series.


Or about how badassed the last Agni Kai between Zuko and Azula was.
