I just saw The Last Airbender...

Just saw this, I don't know what to call it. It was the only movie I've seen where everyone in the theater booed at the end and threw things at the screen. I feel like it was written by someone who can't read, write or care about their or anyone else's work. How do you take something that seemed like such a good idea and make it so terrible. I hope that the man or men responsible for this never get work again. This is what I would hope qualifies as a career killer, because I wish I had slept instead of going to this movie. I want my money, time, and expectations back. As in I expected at least good fun with the 'bending' or fight/dance scenes. I feel like I just got served... Do not watch or let ANYONE YOU KNOW GO TO THIS MOVIE, AND SOMEONE SHOULD PETITION TO CANCEL THE OTHER TWO(three?).

Suki is not, though. She's in the next one. Apparently, he wanted to conglomerate all chapters having to due heavily with Earthbenders into the second movie. Same with Firebenders.

But seriously, if M. Night messes up the Azula vs Zuko and/or Aang vs Ozai fights, I will hunt him down.

He already skipped Paku vs Katara.

This movie literally made me rage. I thought it was over, it cut to a new scene, and in a theater full of little kids I yelled, "GOD DAMMIT!" No joke. And cutting the Kyoshi warriors because they were too cool? Load of crap. The movie was 103 minutes long. How long was James Cameron's Avatar? Over two hours? This movie easily could have been two and half hours, but no. He had to bend(lolpun) our favorite series over a wall and buttfuck it on screen with horrible acting, very little dialogue, crappy fight scenes and entirely too much slow motion. And they weren't bending, they were dancing while rocks and water flew. That's it.

 

After reading your reviews, I have half a mind to just make my own damn movie.
And actually do it right.

Agreed. He spent it all on horrible 3D animations. And did you notice how slow the fire was moving when they "bent" it? Looked like someone used MS Paint and just pasted an image of fire and slowly moved it 10 frames at a time.

 

Oh, no now Night is spewing **** out of his mouth? I hope he goes bankrupt.

I saw "Last Airbender Revealed" and, I thought it would be good.

They might even change the whole plot overnight just to fit in the time period of two hours, knowing M. Night Sham-Lyon effs up every movie. (Although I found Signs kinda...interesting.)

There's barely any spoken dialogue from Katara, Sokka, and Aang. You know, THE MAIN CHARACTERS!! AND THEY BARELY SPEAK! It's not even worth going to make fun of it.
