    If you close the browser, then yeah--you'll be offline. But if you leave the browser on while you leave your computer on, then you'll still be online unless this site has an hour limit on how long you can stay on here before you have to log on again.

    I realize that my account would be online, but could you truly that I would be online in that situation? Or would it merely be a ghost, pretending to be me but never acting as myself? And if I should happen to be invisible? Am I there, from your point of view? Or am I not until I've posted? Perhaps I'm there and not simultaneously, until you have seen that I am there or not?

    Ask an administrator because one--I don't tend to stay online for long since I've got things to do like sleep--that is or do some homework of mines that are due next week Monday/Tuesday. Depending on what class I'd have since I have block schedule: periods 2,4,6, or 1,3,5,7.
