Okay, so if you have ever watched Blue's Clues, then you know Slippery Soap (pictured, craptastically, above). I just realized that he's pretty much just a face with little arms...and he's soap. Soap. That stuff you rub all over your body when you bathe. He gets his face rubbed all over, and I mean ALL over, Steve/Joe's body...He must be traumatized...I mean, I'm sure he's seen things that can never be unseen... I feel so bad for kiddie show characters sometimes...
... I think a part of me just died a little on the inside. Specifically, a part of my childhood. ;__;
Wrong. Yes, I just defended the host of a children's show. Because Blue's Clues was just that awesome.
Blues Clues died when Steve left the show and he was replaced with Joe, ratings spiked, the show became more boring, and the Blues Clues DVD's with Steve in them sold out nation wide.
I actually was not able to grow up on Blues Clues, nor did i think it was such a great show. I mean, it's better than some things on networks. I also disliked seeing random bits when Steve was no longer there..
Oh I wish I were a little bar of soap Oh I wish I were a little bar of soap Oh I'd slippy and I'd slidey over everybody's hidy Oh I wish I were a little bar of soap Bl I missed Steve when he left.
This. Steve was a huge part of my cihldhood memories. When My brother started watching it 4 or 5 years ago, I couldn't bring myself to watch it with my brother without Steve as the host.
Well I knew there was speculation of drugs or whatever, but I do remember him having an E True Hollywood story with him saying he wanted to pursue music. For you to go and look that up must mean you were a pretty big Blue's Clues fan, then again, everyone was basically one when they were kids. x3
