I Just Got Guitar Hero 3!!!

And it was awesome! They changed the gameplay abit since Guitar Hero 2, but in a good way. And they even made my favorite guitar look more kick-@$$ than ever before <3. Now all I have to do is try beating Tom Morello for the 7th time >_>.

 

How exactly is gameplay different?

 

Well, when I say that, I mean the boss battles. They can break your strings, and you get different attacks to use on them instead of Star Power. I guess the general gameplay isn't totally different, but the Boss battles were a change for the better. Makes the game a little more challenging. The tutorials are garbage, however...

 

Ah I see, it does make it interesting.

There isn't much they can change really.

 

Do you know who all the bosses are? If so, who are they? XD

I'm stoked for the game.

I've checked 4 stores for GH3. All needed reservations, which I didn't have.

I've asked my parents to take me to the Gamestop and let me reserve that thing. They said that it's not like it's gonna' get sold out. It'll be in the shelves. I've said otherwise, and they still don't take my word.


Now I check and all the employees say that you can only get it you have it reserved due to so many people buying it.

I HATE ACTIVISION! Don't get me wrong; I love Guitar Hero 3, but Guitar Hero 2 had such a better HUD. Did you also realize that the drummer looks ******ED? But it's an INCREDIBLE lineup of songs from Cream to Slipknot.

 

The bosses are (in order) Tom Morello, Slash, And Lou(Who is the devil). And believe me, you won't like the boss battles anymore once you get to Lou. But when you finally beat him you can feel very satsified and enjoy on of the nicest game credits ever =D.

 

Devil Went Down to Georgia is ****ing great. one of the best guitar riffs I've heard in a while.

Remember to have your keys ready when the credits start lawl.

Especially on expert ;]

 

I haven't played it yet but the others are great.

 

I've been playing it for a while now; they actually had a tournament up here last weekend and none of us had seen the game before, so it was a blind tourney, in a sense. I went in on hard to be safe. Placed second, and won a free copy of the game. XD

Omg, Tom Morello, gotta love that guy. One of my favourite guitarist of all time.

...and to the topic again. I've seen some of the gameplay and it looks fantastic! Is it really so good, but have you found anything in the game that sucks? Do you (or anyone else) know of it's release date in Europe?

And one last question: does it really have the song Take This Life? o.o

 

Probably not. But I don't check the bonus song section too much. It might be there lawl.
