I am guilty over this. My friend did a specific art style of some Original Characters and I wanted to try it out. I did the style with Legend of Zelda (which is in the traditional art section) and a Super Mario one. In my opinion, the ones I did were fairly cute. Other ones are gross. Mine might be to others as well however. I was just trying to pull off the Chibi Chubby Link.

 

I never heard of this trend till now really, or took notice to it.

The fetish that scared me that I ran into with anime fan drawing was drawing them as snakes... Or octopuses. <<

.... that.... actually sounds adorable. If it were like chibi versions of the character in octopi form. Not snakes though. Snakes are bad.

what do you mean by what is it? do you mean chibi?? it's like a miniture [more cartoony and less realistic] version of a regular character. chibi- mini, chubby- selfexplanitory, link- the main character from L.O.Z.
