Tomorrow I'm getting either Pokemon Diamond or Pearl. Can someone suggest which one I get or which starter pokemon I should get, or any tips what-so-ever is appreciated. Thanks. =D
Ooo I'm getting it this saturday, yay us! Um I heard that if you pick the fire dude it's easy penguin dude it's meduim and turtle man is hard. So pick monkey fire man. I'm picking penguin dude. ^_^
That is wrong. Chimchar (fire monkey) is hard. The first gym leader has rock types and the second has grass types. So it goes like this: Turtwig (grass turtle) = Easy, Piplup (water penguin) = Medium, and Chimchar = Hard.

...does it really matter what version you get? I mean, they just have different legendaries and Pokemon that can't be caught in a different version but it's pratically the same. Just buy one and have fun. Anyway, I'm going with Pearl and Piplup.
They were in Fire Red and Leaf Green. Once you get the National Pokedex you can transfer them over via Pal Park, located at the end of Route 221. The only problem is the transfer is permenent.
