Hey there.

I hope this is the right place to post this. Okay first let me tell you a little story.

Okay, Me and a few other people are starting a game development team(its indie and has about 5 people) to make some simple 2d games(to sell for 5-10 bucks on our website so we can buy better software to make the games we really want to make/play, its a plan). Anyway we are still missing a 2d graphic artist for the team and after posting on game developmen forums we could not find anyone(people kept joing and then leaving the team, just our luck) . Someone suggested to post for artist elsewhere and I thought since kh-vids has some good artists on it, why not?

anyway, If your an artist and interested please read and game description and please help us out. Oh and the money made of the game project will be split evenly amongst all members.

Oh and no game development experience is necessary. we just need you to make some 2d graphics and thats it.

Game description:
The game is a 2d side scrolling beat em up. It has 5 different characters ranging from the japanese ninja to the greek tank to the CIA gunman. For a sample of the design document(one of the characters) please look at the end of this post. and the graphic style is 16 bit snes style, similar to this

Previous Work by Team:
I have been making games for about 5 years rangin from simple games made in basic. to 3d games to PC Fps games. The main programmer on the team has been making games for a while, both 2d and 3d.

Sweet! Another game designer. I have my own indie game dev team as well, and much on my plate, or else I'd lend a hand. There are many wonderful artists here, not sure if any of them sprite. I do sprite, though.

If I ever free up some time and you need help in the future, I'll be sure to look you back up.

heres the design for another on of the characters.


Name: cryptik
Appearance: Wears a green body suit, with black hair.
Weaponry:
Fire cannon
Flamethrower: shot out a short continues stream of flame
Fire balls: shoots out big fire projectiles things.
Rock Arm
Punch: sends out a strong punch
Ground: punches the ground and knocks enemies down
Uppercut: goes up against enemies
Dash: charges backa dn runs ino enemies
Ice Glaive
Throw: throws the glaive out like a boomerang
Slash: cuts across with the glaive
Thorn Whip
Whip out: the whip extends and then players can move it around to attack enemies.
Grappler: extends out a grabs enemies or objetct and can use like a grappeling hook.
Shocker
Tazzer: when near an enemies this tazzes them
Lighting: shoots of a charged beam of lighting.
Shocke; shoots put small bullet like electric projectiles.
Attacks/Abilities:
1. Simple Jab
2. Spin attack
3. Jump Attack
4. Boomerang like Throw
5. Upper Cut
Bio./ History/ Background:
Cryptik was the ring name of the world champion tae kwan do fighter. During one his top matches in las vegas he noticed is right arm was stronger than ever before. Suddenly when his opponet was attacking his arm it transformed and attacked with a mind of its own almost killing his opponent. Shocked by what happened he ran off while he was ebign declared the winner. He then remembers waking up in a wrecked las vegas with his arm throbing in pain. He was convinced he was responsible for the ruins and set our to find answers.
