I have waaaayyyy too much time...

Well, I was playing Kingdom Hearts 2 again for the tenth time, and during the thousand Heartless battle, a thought came in to my mind: have I actually defeated a thousand Heartless before the huge battle?
So I went in to one of the files, where I always ran from battle, only doing the necessary ones... And counted how many Heartless have been killed by me. And the count was: 648. The real number is probably higher, though...

 

No, I didn't... Probably hadn't killed too many of 'em at that point, but I can't really remember, I haven't played that save-file in a year...

 

That means most of us have never gotten to 1000 heartless.

Hehee, I almost decided to do that... Maybe next time!

Oh, and I said that the count was before the battle, to see whether or not I had defeated a thousand of those vile creatures of darkness prior to it...

 

What about magic?

 

I did it once using no re actions or magic just my keyblade- but I didn't use Kingdom key... I may try that one day. Took forever, but I was bored and it was funny

 

It would probably take even more time.

my funnest playthrough was using only kingdom key, no abilities, no drives, no magic, no reactions (potions ftw lol) granted on that one, I didnt beat sephiroth either(tried to, but he always killed me by the time I got to his last bar XD)

 

That's pretty much how I played it the first few times... I only got to the second Demyx battle, I was stuck on it for at least a year. Then I found out about abilities and Keychains... Man I felt dumb!

 

You were stuck on Demyx for a year?

I can't imagine what happened with Xaldin and Xigbar.

 

I beat them on the first time. Seriously! After I equipped all the abilities and the best possible Keychains, I had no problem with the game, except with Sephiroth and Xemnas. The latter I had problems with only 'cause I was laughing at his ridiculous, corny battle phrases... It took him like a week to say them in that huge armor-suit-thingie... "Whyyyyyy dddoooo yyyyyyyooooouuuuuu deeeeeesssssspppiiiisssseeeeee tttthhhhheeeee voooooiiiiiiiidddddddd? Riiiiiikkkkuuuuu aaaaaarrrreeeee yyyyyyoooooouuuuuuu suuuuuuurrreeeee yyyyoooooouuuuuuu'rrrrreeeeee noooooottttt jjeeeeaaaaaaallloooouuuusssss ooooofffff Soooooorrrraaaaaaa????????"

I beat Xaldin and Xemnas on my first try too. All you need to do is dodge, a lot.

It really took him a week to say a simple sentence like that? If he did, I doubt he could finish a 30 page short story until he dies of old age.
