I just moved into my own place a couple weeks ago lol! It took maybe four days for my fridge to die ;___; had to get a part replaced. I hope yours is nicer to you. It is a little lonely living on your own, but having had a disastrous roommate situation last year I'm finding the benefits outweigh the cons... It's nice not to have to deal with anyone but yourself if you don't want to. All the best~
I wouldn't mind living on my own to get away from my obnoxious little brother and not have to worry about anyone interrupting me while I'm playing game, but it does have benefits including driving a parent's car when you don't own one yourself, and saving food money when you eat meals your parents make.....well, most of the time for the latter I have kitties myself when my parents are gone and I have the house to myself, so I'm usually good.
Get a guinea pig. Or a hamster. A ferret. A bunny. A hedgehog. A song bird. A fish tank. A fish bowl. A lizard. A gecko.
You forgot the mundane adult things like paying the electric bill, and taxes, and not killing every politician that shows up on your doorstep.
Well you could always get a stuffed baby cat that they sell in the kid's section at Walmart. You have to feed it and pet it and hold it or it'll cry every few hours. Just like a real cat.
