And I'm starting to hate my personality. I kept telling myself to look over the stuff, which I did technically, but I keep forgetting some of the details, and there's a frick-ton of Identification's, only of which a handful will be on the exam tomorrow, and because of how many I doubt I'll be able to fully remember them all, and the essay is maybe, maybe the only thing I could really do well-ish.

Really makes me want to wish I had a better memory, better hang at studying and getting details in my head, and less procrastination. I'm seeing myself getting a B at best tomorrow, but if I do, I can handle that. I'm just praying to God that my memory doesn't die on me when I need it most.

    What subject?

I also have my first test tomorrow in Cell Bio. All I can say is that note cards REALLY, and I mean REALLY, help out.

This so much. Writing them out on note cards makes it really easy to review over and over again without feeling like you're just skimming down a page. It also entails writing out your notes again, which better helps the info to seep in too.

Pre-Civil War History. I already had post-civil war, but moving to texas is just...ugh.
And the teacher's are almost exactly alike, they even do the same type of exams, one just has you do the Multiple choice at home instead of on exam day, but my first class let me use one sheet of paper for notes to take on the exam day. This time I just have to remember monsters amount of info. This teacher did put up a thing with hints on what to do for the exam, but it still feels a little nerve wracking.

That never seemed to help with me so much. But my notes are basically just what you would have on note cards and simplified so when I look at them I can easily tell what's what. I don't do giant paragraphs that make it impossible to look at for info.

If they're so awful, why are you attending college?

If work is so terrible, why do we call it work?

You chose to go to college and then complain about it.

Because some people actually enjoy working?

    That's not work. That's play.

First of all, I wasn't complaining. I was being empathetic in a response to post. Try it sometime.
Second, people choose to do things knowing it will be hard. That's the foundation of growth.
Finally, because I chose to do something knowing it would be hard I don't have the right to vent my frustration and exhaustion in a single post?
Would you rather I make a metric shit ton of threads in here every time I do something slightly challenging? There are myriad reasons why going to college is worthwhile. Not everyone chooses to go. That's fine. Live your life. But a hardy fuck you to anyone who criticizes me for challenging myself and says I don't have the right to express frustration. Who exactly do you think you are to criticize the way people manage their lives? fuck off.

    Okay.

Below: The insults weren't really warranted, and that's pretty much all I have to say on that.
Amaury: If you were joking, it did not come across as much of a joke. On my first read through of the thread, I honestly thought you were seriously questioning him in why he was attending college, and had a reply in mind before I decided to not post. You could have also done without dramatizing your last post.

This thread didn't need to escalate nearly as much as it did. If it continues, it's gonna be locked & done with.

Just to clarify, in my first two posts here, I was completely joking. However, like Plums mentioned, it didn't come across that way, and for that I apologize.

I'm not understanding. What do you mean by play?

My dear Amaury, it would be too exhausting to explain.

    All right-y, then.

I mean, I know what play means. I'm just not sure what you're trying to say. If you enjoy work, it's like playing and having fun?

I suppose if you're one of the lucky few who have a job in your chosen field that you truly enjoy doing, then yes, it is play. Those that can say 'I have never worked a day in my life'. But for the rest of us, work is still work.

3D Animation. And if you're wondering why I'm taking history, it's because I need 8 credits for History for my general classes, which really sucks.
