Opposite for me. The only reason Phantom if hard because when the first time he is fought, no one here (I think so.) knew the "stop the clock" trick. It's not really the first thing that comes to your mind, is it?

 

I got it first try, didn't figure I needed Goofy till like four tries later though.

 

Donald is useless in my opinion, since Goofy's MP Gift ability is quite useful when you're running out of MP.

 

Guys, you should know better than to give Amaury advice on how to play video games. He is, without a doubt, the best player of every video game ever and any advice that we give him won't make any sense to him because he's so intimately familiar with every single video game in all of reality.

Also, I will agree with you that he is obnoxious. I'm not going to say I've beaten him, because that would be a lie, but I have tried time and time again to beat that guy and he just has something against me.

 

Sephiroth is all about countering and dodge rolls.

Okay seriously, guys, stopping Heartless Angel is not that hard. You don't NEED Elixers >.>
Just attack him when he uses it. They give you plenty of time

 

That and he always appears directly behind you before he does it. Soooo... ye.

Not that I haven't let him hit me with it on purpose to flaunt my expert item toss timing

 

Step 1: Items NEED to include Elixirs and/or Mega Ethers
Step 2: Equip Second Chance, MP Haste, MP Rage, Critical Plus, Dodge Roll, Guard, Counter Attack, Berserk, Superglide and Strike Raid. NO OTHER ATTACKS
Step 3: Only Magic you need are Aeroga and Curaga
Step 4: Begin battle, cast Aeroga
Step 5: Get within range to use Strike Raid without getting hit
Step 6: If Step 4 is not possible, block his attacks and use Counter Attack to catch him off-guard
Step 7: If low on MP, allow yourself to get hit to refill MP, and then immediately cast Curaga and then Aeroga
Step 8: When he begins casting Sin Harvest, immediately glide to him and hit him just once
Step 9: When he begins casting Meteor, use Strike Raid before the first meteor hits
Step 10: Repeat steps 5-9 until satisfied
Step 11: If you suck and Sin Harvest connects, immediately use an Elixir/Mega Ether

 

He just beat him with Ultima a few hours ago.
