I hate glue

Last year, had headphones costing over $100. Brother decided he needed to voice his feelings in my ear. Snaps headphones while on my head. Tried fixing with superglue. Worked. Broke today. Tried glue again. Didn't work. Glue all over headphones. Tried paint thinner. Didn't work. $100 headphones ruined. Father displeased.

 

I think that calls for a facepalm...

 

and that's why you don't buy $100 headphones :/

 

To top it all off.

They were on sale.

Safe to presume the world hates me.

 

Are you talking about the headphones that you thwump on top of your head or the ones you put in your ears?

If it's the first, you should've used superglue, waited for it to dry, then wrapped the broken bit in duct tape.

Get earbuds. They're cheaper, I bought mine for a couple dollars at Walmart. Also, they have better sound.

 

Just to clarify.

I didn't buy them. They were my dad's.

I plan to get good earphones, but the good ones are a bit costly.

 

Oh. That explains why he was so upset. But not all good ones cost alot. The one's I have are great and didn't cost alot.

 

I got a good headset at Lidl for about £3.50... Comfortable too.
Unfortunately they didn't last very long when my nephew got hold of them D=<

He may be my nephew, but there have been many many times where I've wanted to kick him.
