I would disagree, if you have just a PS3 it's still far worth it.

If you only have a PSV, however. What are you doing with your life?

Even if you don't have a Vita you can still purchase the games. Good if you do plan on buying one at some point.

You could probably borrow mine, it's mostly served as a paperweight since I already played the 4 good games it's had in the past year and a half to completion.

It depends on the games, that's why i said debatable.
I can say i've only been interested in maybe 8 games for sure from the PS+ this last year.
Really depends if you're willing to bargain the money to get random games for a time.

 

To be fair, the games that they've been giving out as of late are games I've already owned a physical copy of (read: better copy of), and has seemed to be geared more towards people who are just now getting a PS3, but I presume that has a lot to do with the E3 events that took place.

In the past there have often been incredible deals where a PSN game was free for plus subscribers on release (I believe Journey was one of them, if memory serves, or perhaps it was available to plus subscribers a week early. I should probably just go check on Wikipedia, but we all know I'm too lazy to go do that, so I'll just sit here and pad out this parenthesis with useless text for a few more seconds.)

Yeah, but the PSV also has different games than the PS3 as well as portability, which provides some incentive to get it instead of or before the PS3.
