My advice would be to not get her things except for special occasions this early in the relationship.

Since you've already gotten her a necklace it's fine, but after this I wouldn't get her anything for a long time. Not because getting things for her isn't a nice gesture, but because you don't want the relationship to seem superficial.

Getting thing's for someone special is nice, but it shouldn't be done often or the meaning will become watered down, and both of you will begin to question the merits of the relationship itself.

I personally think getting her a necklace, and I'm assuming that it had a pretty penny with it, is moving wayyyyyyyy to quickly and are you guys even in a relationship yet???? You need to slow the mess down. I know christmas is coming up here soon, but you can not get her something expensive because you just got her this necklace. Get her something sentimental, something that says "Hey, I like you, and I wanna be with you" not "Hey this **** right here was really expensive, so you should go out with me cause I got it for you".

You may like this girl and you got her a gift. But why do you like this girl. I know I don't know the story but I can tell my my brother did what you are doing and he bought a Broadsword for her. That's right a bloody Broadsword, she was after that particular one for ages he knew and got it her. You would think that would get him a date but no instead he scared her off and now they don't even cross paths anymore. So try not to go overboard with the gift or you may scare her off. That is all I can really say on this subject.
