I finished FFXIII today.

Why don't I have this kind of luck with CDs D:?

 

It is well worth it. I love how they have the Eidolon fights set up. I thought Odin was going to heal me after each hit like the Shiva sisters did. Let's just say I was wrong so many times. I'm in Chapter 5 right now with Lightning and Hope. Mainly just finding a lot of enemies and getting Crystogen points.

 

I'm really proud of myself, I actually guessed exactly how to beat him by mistake. But Noah wouldn't listen to me, he kept trying to get Hope to heal him and I was like, "Use double Ravager and items goddamnit dhfgdsdhfdsgfsdf," but eventually he won anyway. Then we used him and we were like ZOMGZORZ REACTION COMMANDZ!? FUKKEN AWZUM. A merry time was had by all.

 

Yeah, it's freaking amazing. I wanna use Snow but it's been so goddamn long since he's been usable. It just shows him for a brief scene and background info and then it's just swapping between Lightning and Sazh's party.

 

lol, it'll do that for a wee bit - they're such a tease. But wait till you get Fang! She's a powerhouse with no equal.

 

It took me a few tries to take Odin down, mostly because I didn't realize you had to raise your defense right away (dude nearly one-hit me from the start). But yeah once he's on your side it's totally worth it. >D

I was convinced he had to be the strongest boss for the first part of the game.
Oh I was wrong.
I'm in Chapter 7,I think? Maybe 8.
Fang...is...a...beast.

 

Odin took me 2 tries. All the summons have a trick to them which make them slightly easier. Their great at the start but i find they aren't as great later in the story except as a life saver, but they are still fun to use. Saying that, i did use Bahamut's Megaflare and dished out about 300,000 on a single enemy. @__@
lol, she VERY much is. She's always in my party along with Lightning and Hope.

 

When are you able to customize your party? Because this whole "not being able to make your own party" bullshit is angering me.

 

Is it good?

On chapter 6, so far it's great.

You'll have full control of your party fairly soon, chapter 9, i think.

Personally, i absolutely loved FFXIII. xD It seems you either love it or hate it.

I liked it, but sadly, it can't beat Mass Effect 2 as far as RPGs go for this year so far.
