i find your lack of faith in the lego movie disturbing

The trailers actually generally cut the punchline of many jokes and the like, and it REALLY doesn't show off the manic energy of the film itself. It's both brilliant and kinda stupid for that, since the end result is that the best jokes don't end up getting spoiled for you

 

i barely ever played with Legos as a kid so i honestly never have and never will give a **** about anything regarding Legos and this movie is no exception

 

Don't take this film as "just some film trying to advertise a product." Sure, that's no doubt why it was able to be produced, but give it a chance based on the style of humor, the excellent animation, and the plot that can be relevant to just about anyone, not just a child or an adult.

 

So what is this movie about?

Never saw any adverts, don't really want to.

I never saw the appeal of anything with legos featured as characters though because I always thought lego people looked stupid.

Disclaimer: I'm also not really into watching movies so I'm not gonna go see it no matter what you guys say.

If that's what the whole movie is about, it's shit.

 

What if I said I'd take you to see it, with me ofc, for free, as in, I buy everything, and you sit there and look pretty while either watching the movie or gazing upon my glorious face?​

 

Oooh, yeah, I really liked Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street, so that's good to know.

Ahhhhhhh, I see. I remember the trailers for Vampires Suck all had the best jokes in them, and sitting through the movie just ended up being a snoozefest. I'll probably make plans to see it at some point soon-ish, thanks guys. :D
