I finally got a PS3

and then I promptly wasted four hours playing Final Fantasy 13 instead of doing work

You should get Portal 2.

 

You know if the PS4 is reasonably priced and backwards compatible you're gonna feel AWFULLY silly.

Still haven't finished XIII. And it was just announced that Pottermore is coming to the Playstation Home.

 

I highly doubt it will be backwards compatible.
I just barely managed the money for an extremely nice new PS3 at 500G memory 300$. Seven years after the bloody thing came out.
And anyway, I never get new systems when they come out. I wait a few years until all the bugs get worked out and the price drops. Although I really do wish I'd gotten this thing sooner.

BUT IT'S WHITE AND BEAUTIFUL AND I LOVE IT.

I did in fact get Plus, and may or may not be currently downloading a free copy of Little Big Planet 2. I'll probably get Infamous 2 later as well, but my internet connection can't handle too much at a time.

I got my PS3 about a year and a half ago and I think I'll have it for a long time coming--I've got like 10 games I've yet to finish and dozens more I still want to play. And I don't have to pay $60 for each of them, either.

PS Home I played around in a bit but I would much rather spend my money on real life clothes rather than pretend ones... and there are some weirdos that hang around in there.
