Kingdom Hearts II I e-mailed Square-Enix about FM+ and...

...there response is obviously the same automated one that everyone's been getting. Also, the subject line was marked with a "SPAM" tag. I take it that any e-mail they get with the words "Final Mix+" in it is marked as spam and gets that automated response.

Personally, I'm offended by that. That has to be the rudest thing I've seen in e-mail in a while.

Here's their response:

We hope this letter answers your questions.

Our parent company, SQUARE ENIX Co., Ltd. of Japan, has no current plans to
Kingdom Hearts II: FINAL MIX+ outside of Japan. This is not to say that it will
never happen, it's just that SQUARE ENIX of Japan is currently focusing on
numerous other projects.

We hope that this information has been of some assistance, and we apologize for
any inconvenience.

-sighs- At least my friend takes Japanese. I'm going to have to drag her over to my house and have her translate the scenes that weren't originally in KH2. That's only if I manage to get FM off eBay or something though...

 

That automated message is obviously not updated. KHIIFM+ is already confirmed for the United States.

Anyway, yeah, it's an automated message. I mean I don't think SE would ever take all that time to read each individual message. =/

 

The extra scenes in FM are in english with jap subtitles. The only thing that needs to be translated is CoM, thats what I read on play-asia.com.

 

Well look at it from Square-enix's side, they probably gets hundreds of e-mails asking if FM+ will get released in the US & Europe. They don't have time to reply to each email personally. They will announce if it will get a US or European release when they think it is right.

 

I hope it comes out i nthe united states cause i never got to play kh1FM cause of this.

 

Me neither, I'm hoping my cousin gets it if it does.

Just what I'd expect from them. Everyone should know by now that SE hates anything that isn't Japan.. Especially Europe XD

this is relatively old news. it is still unclear whether it's coming out or not. although many websites such as gamespot and gamefaqs have given it the release date of Fall 2007. also this was printed in a magazine, i think Electronics Game Magazine? so it could be released but it's still unclear at this point

Sadly, I heard it only works on the Japenese PS2 :( , but I have got some more good news! There is something called Swap magic that allows you to play japenese games on the english PS2!!!!! :D

 

whatd you expect? SE is a company, company cares about money, not consumers, the costs for re-releasing something stateside/out of japan is more costly than what they would make off it. People have a tendency to not buy the same thing twice if they dont have to, and lets face it, its the same rubbish shpeeled out to us again, new look, new packaging(maybe) rather than being angry at not getting something again, be glad you dont have shell out another 60+bucks for KH2 again.
