I don't wanna open my brithday card,

Its from my aunt. The one I hate. She makes fun of me and calls me names in stuff. She sent me a birthday card. I don't want to open it because she was such a ***** to me last time I visited, but I'll probably get into trouble if I don't. What should I do?​

 

When my aunt calls, she asks if my daddy is home. :silence:

Open it! She probably stuffed a 20 in there! Figureing its going to be her good deed for the year.

If you open it, and see no green, just throw it away then.

 

Actually, thats why I'm half-mad at her she's like "Your such a brat, I'm not getting you anything for your birthday." and she said that 'cause I was being sarcastic, and she meant it.​

She gave me a check. I think its a fake though. Or expired. Whatever. She said Happy Birthday, be happy.​

 

How much is the check... what is the signed date (checks are good for 6 months)... and why do you think its fake?

 

Its good then. She put 20xx/100. She said she wouldn't give us money or anything so I get the feeling its fake. And anyway, it doesn't matter. Not like I can use it. My dad just takes my money and uses on something dumb like his damned Bio fuel thing that he's obsessed with.​

 

First off all, if its expired, she gets charged a penalty for bouncing a check.

If its fake... she could go to federal prison. Check fraud is a big no no... :nonono:

So cash it! 20 bucks is a good thing!
